Inspired by the multiple empty plinths that are scattered around London, hinting at former monuments but marked by a striking absence, stripped of their function and stand merely as supports. I constructed a portable replica of such a plinth, though it wasn't necessarily trying to stand in for one, it did visually resemble such a monumental placeholder. I took it on a journey, and eventually left it to fall apart in its final resting place.
